Zelda3 Parallel Remodel More Information

The infamous Zelda3 Parallel Worlds ROM hack introduced many fantastic elements to the world of Zelda. With all new gfx, Parallel Worlds presented a completely unique overworld and set of dungeons, various asm patches, and radical gameplay. It was an incredible technological accomplishment that rivaled the long-time fan favourite: A Link to the Past.

However, these radical advancements came with drastic adaptations to the gameplay. Extensive backtracking resulted in extreme difficulty, requiring players to execute precision moves and face-off against seemingly invincible bosses. The added difficulty made the game almost unplayable for many players and unbeatable for most.

The Zelda3 Parallel Remodel hack sought to rectify these problems. The new hack reduces backtracking to present the game in a format that is playable by most people’s standards. It is fairer to the player by illuminating dark rooms, reducing enemy health, and removing the need to execute complicated jump/bomb moves.
