The player controls Mario, or his brother Luigi, through a series of levels to stop Bowser. The game also introduces Yoshi, a dinosaur who can eat enemies with his tongue. Yoshi the dinosaur assists Mario in his battle with Bowser, who has kidnapped Princess Toadstool yet again. Your job is to guide Mario and Yoshi through nine sensational worlds to the final fight in Bowser's castle.
