Super Demo World: The Legend Continues More Information

Super Demo World: The Legend Continues is a fully-fledged redoing of Super Mario World using new graphics, level layouts, and various other elements. This is one of the earliest known Super Mario World hacks, partly due to that this was created by the same person that made Lunar Magic, a popular hacking tool for the game. As such, it showcases a lot of things that can be done with the tool.

From start to finish, this is a complete game. You can expect to have fun playing through all the new levels this game has to offer while also continuing to enjoy the perfected platforming mechanics of Super Mario World. As with the original Super Demo World (released two years prior to this hack), it has new custom blocks such as screen-scrolling type pipes that are similar to what you’d see in Super Mario Bros. 3.

If you’re going to play this game, do note that you can’t patch the original Super Mario World file with the patch. You will need to use Lunar Expand so the ROM could be expanded to 6 MB. This hack was used to test Lunar Magic with a file larger than 4 MB, after all. Get over that hurdle, however, and you’ll be able to have a grand time with this well-crafted work.

When you download this hack the download will contain a .ips file (Not a ROM file), This .ips file is a patch which you need to apply to the original ROM in order to be able to play the hacked game. The easiest thing to do is copy the .ips file in to the same folder as the original ROM and make sure the .ips and .rom file have the same name, for example
