Megaman Bass More Information

Mega Man 7 is the first of the Mega Man series to feature the character, Bass. Since then, Bass has garnered plenty of popularity among fans of the franchise. He appeared in later games such as Mega Man 8, Mega Man & Bass, and Mega Man 10. The last two aforementioned games contain him as a fully playable character, with movesets that are arguably far superior to Mega Man’s.

However, Bass’s debut appearance isn’t playable. You can’t play as Bass in Mega Man 7. He only appears as a rival battle a couple times throughout the adventure. Thanks to the hack, you can rectify this matter.

It’s not as advanced as one may like to expect. The game still plays like as if you were to be controlling Mega Man. This is because the creator of the hack only replaced Mega Man’s sprites with those of Bass. No additional programming was done to make Bass play out any differently.
