Earthbound (SNES) Review
Earthbound on the snes is a RPG like you have never seen before. Earthbound is a very popular game on the SNES but it did not become popular until roughly 20 years after it was released. Earthbound is also known as Mother 2 in japan and has become a cult classic world wide. If you want to purchase a legit copy of the game expect to pay around $1000, Earthbound is currently one of the most expensive games to buy for the super nintendo.
In the game you play a small boy who has special psychokinetic powers who lives in a small boring town called Onett. One day a meteor falls in Onett and animals and people start to act strange. It is now up to you, your dog and friends to investigate what is happening. You soon find out that you are set on a quest to save the world.
This is a very funny game with pushy cops, strange minor characters and talking monkeys. As for the enemies you can expect to come up against Hippies, Slugs, UFO’s, Trees, Zombies and puke 🙂 If you want to play this game be prepared that it will take a long time to complete.

Question : Is It Illegal To Download and Play a ROM of Earthbound ?
Answer : Yes it is illegal. We will not supply any links to download the Earthbound rom file as we want to keep this site legal. Nintendo have posted the following on there website “whether you have possession of a Nintendo ROM for a limited amount of time, i.e. 24 hours, it is illegal to download and play a Nintendo ROM from the Internet” which makes it clear that downloading ROMS is completely illegal.
A lot of people say this is a grey area, Some say as long as you own the game on the SNES you can download and play the ROM as a backup to the physical media, this is not true. Nintendo see ROMS as a threat to date to the intellectual property rights of video game developers.

Question : I have The Earthbound SNES Cartridge But Not The Box?
Answer : I have found this website called nintandbox where you can download the box art for this game. It has most of the game boxes for super nintendo games.
You then simply need to print out the picture you download, then cut out the box then fold and glue the box and you will have a great looking replacement box which will look similar to the box to the right.
