Breath of Fire II was infamous for being a mind-numbingly, soul-crushingly tedious adventure. The battles dripped by like thick treacle and oftentimes your characters were fatally under-powered. Fortunately, this new hack breathes life into the franchise once again! Breath of Fire II EasyType updates the game with explosive speed and powerful characters — making it a fast paced, enjoyable adventure!
Breath of Fire II EasyType is a ROM hack created by JCE3000Gt. It makes your characters much faster and more powerful. There’s nothing more enjoyable than watching an army of enemies fall weakly in defeat at your feet. Specifically, this update adjusts character stats to 999HP, 511AP and 99 for all major stats. What could be better?
With the maximum stat upgrades, it’s a breeze to battle your way through to the end of the game. Something that most people never had the patience for before. The only downside is that you still need to allow the Beak to hit you at the beginning of the game — and with your increased abilities, it can take a long time for it to do the necessary damage!

Answer : Watch this video for instructions on what to do. When you download this hack the download will contain a .ips file (Not a ROM file), This .ips file is a patch which you need to apply to the original ROM in order to be able to play the hacked game. The easiest thing to do is copy the .ips file in to the same folder as the original ROM and make sure the .ips and .rom file have the same name, for example

- Breath of Fire II EasyType.rom
Now launch your emulator and then open the ROM and you should be able to play the hack. If the hack does not load you will need to patch the ROM file with the IPS file.
