Aero the Acro-Bat (SNES) Gameplay

This game features levels that can be played in 2D platforming style and to finish the levels, players are required to complete certain task to revel the exit warp. Some of the tasks include things like stepping on platforms until the vanish, passing through hoops as well as riding roller coasters. The game features 4 worlds with 5 levels each. Aero has limited stars that can be used to shoot at enemies.

The games main character Aero the Acro- Bat lives as well as works in the world of Amusement circle and Funpark. It is his duty to save and defend the circus from Edgar Ektor who is an evil ex clown. Ektor also has a side kick called Zero the kamikaze Squirrel who Aero must also fight.

Answer : Yes it is illegal.  Nintendo have posted the following on there website “whether you have possession of a Nintendo ROM for a limited amount of time, i.e. 24 hours, it is illegal to download and play a Nintendo ROM from the Internet”  which makes it clear that downloading ROMS is completely illegal.  A lot of people say this is a grey area, Some say as long as you own Aero the Acro-Bat on the SNES you can download and play the ROM as a backup to the physical media, this is not true.  Nintendo see ROMS as a threat to date to the intellectual property rights of video game developers.
