Adventures of Dr. Franken is a 1993 platformer for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. The game was developed by Motivetime Limited and features Frank, who is a Frankenstein monster on a mission to find scattered part of his girlfriend. A prototype NES version was developed around the same time, but never officially released.

Adventures of Dr. Franken (SNES) Gameplay
Dr. Franken was a video game released for Game Boy and Super NES by Elite Systems. It was titled The Adventures of Dr. Franken for the SNES in the United States. The game features Franky, a Frankenstein Monster on a mission to collect the scattered body parts of his girlfriend.
This game is your typical side scrolling platformer where the player must avoid enemies and overcome obstacles. When a player touches too many enemies with Franky, they die. To defend himself against enemies, Frank can perform a Kick and the objective of every mission is to find a package. To do so, Franky has to solve puzzles and there are 20 levels in the game plus 4 bonus levels.
Bitsy who is a Franky’s girlfriend are planning a holiday trip to New York City however, there is a problem, Bitsy does not own a passport. Franky comes up with a plan and takes Bitsty apart piece by piece and mail her to New York City where he plans to put her back together once he is there. While this seemed like a good idea, Bitsty get lost in the mail and it is up to Franky to find all her parts and assemble her back together again.

Nintendo have posted the following on there website “whether you have possession of a Nintendo ROM for a limited amount of time, i.e. 24 hours, it is illegal to download and play a Nintendo ROM from the Internet” which makes it clear that downloading ROMS is completely illegal. A lot of people say this is a grey area, Some say as long as you own Adventures of Dr. Franken on the SNES you can download and play the ROM as a backup to the physical media, this is not true. Nintendo see ROMS as a threat to date to the intellectual property rights of video game developers.
