When it comes to game play, the game features elements where players call plays and execute them which is to be expected in a game like this. It shares similarities to Madden in that department.
There is no plot in this game however; it does have a single player mode, a player versus mode which allows player to play a full season of football which also includes pre season preparation.
The names of the players and teams are fictional. Some of the names of players in the game are very similar to the real names of the players. This is a great game which you can just pickup and play and is lots of fun to play with your friends.
